Over 4 Decades of Animal Shipping Experience
O'Brien Animal Transportation & Services (OATS) was started in 1995, after Jim O'Brien retired as a police k-9 Sergeant with over 30 years of service in law enforcement. Mr. O’Brien’s experience with animal shipping spans 5 decades. Beginning in the early 1960's, Mr. O'Brien started his career at Asiatic Animal Imports then located at San Francisco International Airport. Asiatic Imports specialized in animal traffic from the Far East. While at Asiatic, Mr. O'Brien not only oversaw all inbound traffic operations, but also specialized in Asiatic's research and exotic animals division.

Mr. O'Brien started OATS because of his love for animals and to assist in the humane transportation of animals worldwide. Utilizing his vast knowledge and experience in the animal shipping business, O.A.T.S began shipping pets and small animals around the world.
